So this page should make a few questions spring immediately to mind, given what we've seen and heard throughout the rest of the series. Some of these questions will be answered in the next few pages. You can speculate if you like, but I will neither confirm nor deny, since it'll be answered in comic and soon.
All I'll say is, yes, it was always planned this way.
Don't cling to any normal notion of "soul" as the definition for Rurshaa though. It's just the closest word we have, not a direct translation.
