I have to admit, I had a TON of fun drawing that third big panel there. I think I could actually build everything he's wearing there, I thought it all through so much. The glove over his arm is mostly leather to protect him, but also allow him to be mobile. The claws covering his own are metal, though, since metal is easier to sharpen if it blunts and can be easily replaced if broken. The goggles have magnification so that he can see the designs close up and make sure he's got it all right.
This was the first time I can rememebr that I actually didn't have trouble thinking of things to put in the background. That's actually why I have such a hard time with backgrounds, I can never think of what goes in them! But here, this whole place was just so fun to design. I'm really pleased with this page overall even though there's nothing really going on here. It was just so much fun to draw, haha!
