It's a lot easier to get someone to talk in the language you want when you initiate the conversation, and lucky for her, he's there to stop people from coming in, not from going out.

He's not as good at speaking the human language as she is, though. "Haa" is more a boetheri thing (we say Kei use it like we would use "oh" in a previous page.) His last word there is just "strange…"
