Yeah Issen hasn't displayed much interest in Cyff except that…
SHE BURNT DOWN HIS HOME! And caused him to be thrown in JAIL! That's quite humiliating, especially for a rebel like Issen… And he said to EG he'd be willing to help in bringing her down if he could. So he's quite pleased that she's being punished for her actions.

I mean.. EG went to Issen to ask for help in locating her.. so I don't think he'd be suspicious of why Issen's now asking after her.. it's only natural, right?

Maya - Issen wore jail clothes when he was in jail, so maybe they washed his real clothes for him! That work?
Or maybe it's been long enough for his clothes to dry?
