I bought something at the store that I don't know what it is and I'm eating it for breakfast as I write this. It's.. grey. And stringy.

Kaiyaweird - There have been viruses used to edit our genetic code for over a decade. They're used in gene therapy to help people who have genetic diseases where a certain organ or function doesn't work properly. Instead of the virus reproducing itself, it repairs the DNA in one's cells. Usually the virus is injected interveinously and a lot of it is needed, as the virus can't reproduce independantly. The problem is that the effects are sorta short-term and it's almost impossible to replace ALL genetic material, given the death rate of cells and viruses.
