Actually I can't do foreshortening either.. I've just learned how to fake it over the years.
Paying attention to people's shadows is something I had to drill in to my brain - it definitely didn't come naturally! Doing my comic in only two shades of brown really helped me with that skill. Try it yourself - draw people's shadows in every picture until it comes more naturally!

Yes you're right.. the story started out about Cyff and then was like - Oh hey Issen's way cooler, let's ditch Cyff and talk about him instead! Um.. yeah I dunno how to fix that now.

But I'm glad everything else works out!
