Painter X is just coming out and it contains the ability to overlay your work with The Divine Proportion (and The Rule of Threes) and the picture today shows that this makes a great deal of difference if you're looking to create tension. While the Gun Nosed Man is a good picture with the full head rendering, when I crop it to concentrate on the eye and the space around it with in the constraints of the Divine Proportion, well, it's pretty much cooler than cool …
