Abby learns something unsettling (wonder how she's gonna react to this when the shock subsides?)
…and we cut to Penelope who has combined supper with breakfast for TK. A subplot's about to begin!




Behind the Secret Door (babbling about structure. boredom alert!):




I'm often not sure how to structure these pages. Ending on the revelation about Kruger was the obvious way to go, but I wanted to get the subplot rolling.




So this flips into another scene but doesn't give us much to hook into. Sort of a non-cliffhanger cliffhanger.




Anyway, this is how I'd have done it if it were a printed book where you could see the next page right away.




Not the best structure for a webcomic page…but it was the best choice for me this time around.
