To answer a question I get sometimes, like on the last page. I think it was Locoma who asked… yeah, I do pencils for Ultimate X before tracing it all in Flash then adding colour. The pages live on my desk and I just add to the pile. See? I took that like 5 minutes ago. And here's another one. A couple pages are missing, because I think I gave one away to Dez and one to Irene. Rob turned me down when I offered to send him one. He was all like, "Why do I want that shit for? Fuck you for trying to send me your rubbish." (Really he thought any pages I sent him would be ruined for some reason and they were safer in my hands, but I like my story better)

I have to say, I really like how this page turned out. It combines two of my favourite things. Brian Michael Bendis, one of the best writers in comics at the moment, and Michael Chiklis of The Shield doing his Vic Mackey thing.

Also, it's the first time EVER where no one from the UX cast of characters has appeared in a comic! ZOMG! If this bothers you like it bothers me, then just tell yourself they're in the silhouettes.

There was supposed to be the sound effect PA-KOW! in panel 4, but I couldn't bring myself to cover up the art.

And finally, have you seen Watchmen? I've seen Watchmen. Go see Watchmen. You'll understand it better if you've read the book though. Go read Watchmen.

Actually… one more thing, I haven't had time to finish inks and colours on the previous comic yet, sorry. It's getting there though! Some time before the comic ends it'll be done! I was still sick on the weekend when I'd planned to work on it and went to bed instead of sitting at the computer whilst the room spun.
