When Gofero uses his mobility technique, it leaves behind a bust of energy, at low levels, this burst may just look to be flashy effects, but at higher levels, it becomes a way to disorient the opponent as the faster their reaction time, the worse the effects of the energy burst. There is a technique Gofero can learn relating to the burst step, but he needs to be able to move at possibly hundreds of thousands of miles an hour in order to be able to use this move effectively, and by then, it would be the endgame of the story, or at least a much later arc or something.
