VERY Distracting

Fun Fact: I always draw myself in whatever I'm wearing at the time of the drawing (if you look at "Charisma," I was actually wearing the shirt my friend Stephen gave me at the time I drew it!). Last night/early this morning when I drew THIS comic, I had just come home from a party (more like an early High School Reunion…) and I was still in my red party dress. :)

The people I've featured in this comic are the people I've been spending most of my time with this summer. My friend Steffani (we've been friends since 8th grade) and James.

This comic is largely based on the teasings I've been getting (mostly from my gal pals) about how James (mostly due to his cocky grin/smirk, I believe…though his eyebrows and nose aresometimes mentioned as factors) resembles Wheylin. And that he's been distracting me greatly. lol.

Although Wheylinesque, James is more useful than distracting. He's teaching me how to drive/swim/ride a bike/build sand castles/relax and a whole bunch of other life lessons that I had missed out on until now. And I've lost 7 pounds thanks to the hikes he's been taking me on!

Things have been incredibly busy lately. My artwork is going to be up in a gallery in California in October.

More on that later.
