What is even going on in this ad? It looks like that's her last martini and shes paying to the martini gods to send her another one. I also find it ironic that she looks kind of strung out on alcohol which is ridiculous enough on it's own but she also happens to be holding a swanky cocktail drink that no teenager would ever consume or know how to make.
When I see anti-drug ads I just always wonder if they actually want kids to do drugs, the ads are just so ridiculous, almost too ridiculous. Sometimes it's dumb arguments, like smoking pot funds terrorism, if you smoke pot you'll run over a kid. There's another kind of anti-drug ad though, ones that are so absurd it's like they're trying to trip out kids into not doing drugs, as retarded as that sounds. Like this one I saw in a Nintendo power magazine of two anthropomorphic wasps passing along bug spray to each other. Like the type of generic imagery that people associate with drug use. Maybe they're saying "you don't want to see scary shit like this do you? Don't do drugs." Those new anti-drug ads that tell parents that kids could be getting their drugs at home from the medicine cabinet have got to be some of the most retarded things I've ever seen. Next thing you know they'll be telling people that kids are going into the woods and finding naturally psychoactive plants and getting high so if your kids enjoy hiking and own a plant field guide they could be getting high on valerian or something.
