You might be wondering if I just referenced decade-plus-old forced Nostalgia Critic meme in panel 6. And the answer is yes. Yes I did.

The dialogue in panels 2 and 3 is a reference to the most quotable movie of all time, The Princess Bride. If you haven’t seen it, you should. And if you have seen it, you should check out Cary Elwes’ memoir of the making of the film from your local library. It’s a fun read.
