These are odd threats, given that minifigures don’t have fingers or ears. In my head, my characters are real people seen through the lens of LEGO bricks. Drawing attention in story to their minifigure traits would be like an illustrated character remarking on the thickness of their linework. Perhaps an amusing fourth-wall break, but one I prefer to avoid.
