When taking pictures, my phone will sometimes randomly change screen brightness if it catches a desk lamp the wrong way. Until recently, I didn't realize this was happening, and would change the photo brightness so things looked consistent. Of course, this would make the actual photos have different brightness. I've learned to avoid this issue in the future, but you can sort of see the inconsistencies here.
