The plot is racing along. ;) Yes, I can draw broken glasses. I've broken mine many, MANY times. Once a lens popped out in the middle of 5th Avenue (a very busy street next to campus). I ran back to retrieve it, because I had an Organic Chemistry exam, and I reasoned that my professor would never excuse "broken glasses" (and I can't see more than four inches away without them) but "hit by a car" might be valid reason to miss the test.
