There's that accursed empathy again. (She'll never be happy if all she does is fret about everyone else.) Yeah, Seiko's not stupid, but she is adept at faking ignorance. I love Mike, especially in the next to last panel. The boy says what we're all thinking.

Lots of talking on this page. (I should have done two pages. Sorry about that.) Weird-shaped speech bubbles are because I hand-write the dialog first. Also I was still working on getting font size to look okay. In the future, I'll try to keep that a little nicer looking and redraw weird speech bubbles digitally when appropriate.


LanceDanger: Most of the comics I have favorited aren't showing updates. I hope the DD staff fixes that soon.

Peipei: Thanks. I liked those panels too. :) I get a kick out of the piecemeal scenes. (I use them sparingly, though, or else they would get old.)
