Alex hit a snag. He doesn't know the value of the books. Whoops. Anyway, it seems to be a "fair" price that's proposed, but the boy is suspicious. Too bad Kaida is distracted at the moment. (Kaida… in a dress… It just doesn't happen everyday.) Here's a random side note; I learned how to draw the backs of ears from the Case Closed anime.

Tomorrow begins a new, very short chapter (almost a "mini-chapter"), Kaida's Date.
