Kaida's a book whore. lol! Seiko's cute here, looking through the books for their little pieces of personality… Old books seem to have souls. I have a confession. I was reading Agatha Christie's Postern of Fate when I wrote this chapter. I can't deny that it inspired me some. Tuppence Beresford sitting in a pile of old books in the house she and Tommy had just bought… Coded messages and secrets all over the place… It's a fantastic theme, imagination fodder for sure.

Panel six looks a little weird because nothing is really shaded… That is Toyo leaving through the front door.

Peipei: He really makes an impression. ;-) Most of Kaida's old "outlaw" friends aren't all that bad. (She's probably among the worst of them, and she's a softie under the surface.)

LanceDanger: Toyo is just… smooth. ;-)
