I decided to stray away from the "straight-edge" look for the panel borders. I dunno, I just like the slight curves that were present on my sloppy ruler-free drawing, and it seems to feel deliberate and not really that unruly (lol), especially with this font.

There are a couple inside jokes/stories here and one not so inside joke. ;-) First the non-inside thing. Earlier in the story, at the Halloween party, Kaida mentally remarks about Seiko's indiscretion in choosing friends by saying she thinks the mailman is a dear friend. So, of course, I had to have Seiko call him by his first name. That first name is Dave, btw, the name of my brother. In fact, the hair, goatee, etc. That is all my brother. He asked me to put him in a cameo. Here it is. mailman Dave doesn't act like real Dave, though. He just looks like him.

I have a note from real life… I have a job interview Friday!! It's for a full time position at a vet clinic. It's my very first job interview ever. I'm nervous but excited. (I wrote my own resume, and this is the first place I've ever sent it.)

I have rambled on forever, but I can't conclude my comments without mentioning Comic Remix. Used Books had the privilege to be remixed by Tantz Aerine, and it was executed with her usual (but somehow always unexpected) brilliance. – So, I snatched it up for my personal gallery. n_y_japlander: I was going to use real darts until I decided to get Jiro involved. o.O

Peipei: Jiro is used to being tormented by Yuki. Poor cat. And thanks for the compliment to my coloring. I'm still not very confident, and since I use a semi-transparent layer, all the colors end up lighter and different looking than the original palette.

Locoma: Yuki always comes through as the unwitting jester. :-)
