This is my very first real death in the comic. (Not counting flashbacks.) I know that technically they were killed yesterday, but they were pronounced dead today. I didn't want to jump the gun by announcing my "triumph" yesterday – just in case anyone thought Jerry was somehow either faking or going to recover.

Locoma: Sorry. I get giddy when things turn out right – and I never know what to say in the author comments… As for shading, it suddenly dawned on me that I could freehand select panels with no feathering and then feather omitted sections. It amused me so much that I had to play with it. (btw, your new avatar is the cutest one yet. :D )

n_y_japlander: Nice little mystery; no?

LanceDanger: Yeah, Seiko is "safe" now thanks to ??? but rather disturbed…

Peipei: Everyone's timing seems to be pretty bad lately. :-/

maritalbliss: I could be mean and start a new chapter/scene. (hee hee) Bethany says her job is nicer than expected. She mostly watches monitors and walks around chatting with people. I'm continuing my hunt in good spirits, though. I have an interview Monday at an Amazon.com office.
