The chapter title came primarily from this page. I'd like to point out the last panel. I drew a quick squiggle, a rough gesture to try and indicate the face of coin. I didn't give it much thought, but when I looked at the page later I giggled at how "intentional" it looks.

LanceDanger: Bad luck travels in groups, but eventually it turns.

Peipei: Playing dead? Hee hee. That would be a twisted joke on Mike. It isn't really in Tristan's character. (Mike would totally do something like that, though.)

Tantz: Fudo has a strange relationship to Seiko, so his intentions are kind of uncertain – maybe even to him. (A key is pretty moot at this point. No chance to use it with the police coming.) Oh, and he'll clean the knife later. It's a bit of "trophy blood" right now and adding to the mind games with Seiko. ;-)

n_y_japlander: I'm glad you're enjoying the ride. This is a pretty intense story arc.

Ten chan: Fudo likes to push Seiko's buttons. He really knows how to get to her.

Jonko: Yeah, Tim is a big guy. It takes a big guy to go against Yuki (that's why he was created). Not a fair opponent for Seiko, though. :-/

Gavin: That's exactly why he didn't wipe it off… Seiko is usually pretty level-headed, moreso than most people.
