Still in flashback mode – in case the hairstyles don't give it away. Deep thinking rebel Fudo. lol At least he realizes that he screwed up that night. Really bad perspective. Ugh. :-/ Consider it conceptual. I was struggling/learning when I drew this.

Peipei: Well, that friendship runs pretty deep, almost like brothers. (Besides, you don't want to antagonize someone like that.)

n_y_japlander & LanceDanger: Thanks. I thought the coloring turned out nicely myself. :-)

Locoma: Toyo is more worried about Fudo's safety/sanity than afraid of him. (Though cleaning his knives in Toyo's living room is a little unsettling.)

Tantz: Toyo's been out of the loop for a while, and his bond with Fudo was very strong, so he won't abandon him – at least not without trying to figure out what happened.

ShinGen: Fudo and Toyo had/have one of the strongest and earliest friendships in the story – before the whole assassin thing and before either knew Kaida. (In November, we'll be into a longish story about before any of them were outlaws. Fun stuff. ;-) )

2ndwnd: Nothing new. Just evolving what I've been doing. (That page had a bit of detail to it to begin with.)
