Sorry I didn't include Toyo's magic act. In the end, it just wasn't important for plot or character, and didn't fit in well. As usual, I'll give you a reminder for characters we haven't seen in a while. Misaki was Seiko's mother. She died a fair few years ago, but after this particular flashback (obviously).

Locoma: I guess I just crave action. ;-) That was a fun panel to draw. I love tension… lol

LanceDanger: No little boy likes to be patted on the head. ^_^ (But you're right, Tristan was very protective of his sister.)

Masq: I rarely get to draw the goofy grin on Fudo. ;-) I hope you aren't tired of the back-foreshadowing yet.

Peipei: Toyo's supposed to be pretty chubby in current day. I just needed practice drawing the body type. (He might have lost a few pounds in prison.)

Tantz: I like that line. XD

ShinGen: They didn't have any real reason to be sad – though Kaida was a teenager, so she probably wasn't a bowl of sunshine 24/7.
