What to do with a stubborn teen… I love a good old writing desk, so I attempted to draw one here. It sorta resembles my grandfather's desk.

Unrelated real life story time! Yesterday, I walked to the post office 1.25 miles away (according to Mapquest). It was closed when I got there, and got dark on my way home. :-/ Then it started raining – hard. A couple of older women in a minivan saw me walking and offered me a ride home. I took it. They were really nice. But… I broke another big rule of city living. Don't accept rides from strangers, kids. (I'm walking out there again tomorrow. I must have my new Detective Conan DVD!)
