I had quite a bit of fun drawing panel 3. Anyway, I think it shows Seiko's stature pretty well. Not fat or skinny or muscular. A picture of "plain." ;-) It was fun coming up with competitions that she and Natalie would compete in – upper class, honor student stuff (games and sports mostly alien to me, so I had to do some research).

LanceDanger: I don't know how to play chess. My brother wanted to teach me so he'd have an opponent.

Masq: It's fun to stir up a little competition. ^_^

ShinGen: Yeah, but Natalie isn't quick to accept defeat.

Tantz: At least she's fighting a more benign battle for a change.

dueeast: It's the influence from all those sitcoms I watch… sneaking into my storyline. lol

n_y_japlander: Getting kicked out of things always makes for a good story. I can't stay in clubs (biology, theater, anime). I never get kicked out. I just quit after two or three club meetings.

trevoramueller: In this chapter, sitcoms are the inspiration for the pacing and sequence of events.

Peipei: Seiko likes teasing people (in a non-hurtful way) but doesn't get to do it very often. ;-)
