Can't Choose Family

New chapter time. Just going to get back to the conversations left dangling before their interruption. This page was fun to color because I had to come up with the colors for the hair, eyes, skin, and outfits of some different characters than usual. Originally, the cap on Jeff in the first panel was red and white, but it looked too much like they had a run-in with Mario, so I changed it. ;-)

Now, here's an obscure recurring character nearly as old as Jerry (but considerably less dead at this point…). We saw Mrs. Taney in Chapter 4, lying unconscious on her bathroom floor. Well, her marital status has changed (surprised? lol). – And Mike's antics have won him a new admirer.

n_y_japlander: Sounds like the snow we get in Huntington (which isn't often…). Snow is always pretty to look at but not very practical to live with. :-P

LanceDanger: I love snow. I never get enough. I need to move into the mountains, so I can get more.

Peipei: The three robbers are in the hands of the authorities now, so they will receive appropriate care/punishment. ;-)

amanda: Depends on where you live and your connections. I'm trying to get a job with the university now. Most other places around here are unskilled labor – so they don't care about degrees. (And unemployment rates are ridiculous in WV.) I'll probably have to move to find a good job.

trevoramueller: Mayhemed – good word! Happily, there's more of that than murder in my stories, not that people don't try. Every now and then, they succeed.

JustNoPoint: lol. Must be Kylie's "defeated" expression in the handcuffs. (Now where did they put the giant rubber mask and the projector?)
