Eye of the Storm

I need to pre-explain this chapter because it is a different format than usual. This is a "transition" chapter (as hinted by the title). Instead of running a linear plotline, we will be having a glimpse at different characters' thoughts and activities – about a page each.

In the first panel is a lamp that I designed after a green glass lamp I used to have in my bedroom as a child. One night when I was watching X-Files with my sister (during an intense scene with gunfire), my lamp spontaneously shattered. I sometimes draw the lamp in memory of its bizarre "death." (It's also on page 359, but colored differently to match the decor.)

n_y_japlander: Gael thought she was dressed sort of like Kaida. ~_^

Peipei: I enjoy drawing them in different outfit/costumes. (Sometimes, I come up with excuses to put them in new attire. Lol.)

Tantz: She's only been gone a week, but Kaida's ready to write her off already. (Partly because she's still sulking about Yuki.)

amanda: I guess he didn't fit in the luggage. Lol.
