Ugh. I hate these boring conversation pages. I'm always attempting to create layouts that keep things from looking bland and repetitive. This might be one of my weirder layouts.

This is the last page of the chapter (and of Volume 5).

I got all my credit/debit cards canceled, but I have to carry cash until I get replacements (and I hate carrying cash… even more now). We found out that the robbers broke in a back window, so Bethany did a happy "it's not my fault! I didn't leave the door unlocked" dance. They tried to use my credit card, failed, and used one that Gael didn't remember was in her wallet to charge over $2000 (which will be refunded once she files paperwork). Our landlord changed all our locks asap. – So everything is fairly "okay" at the moment.

Oh, and Gael's dad is bringing her a gun Wednesday… Um… Yeah. (I'm not particularly fond of weapons, but Gael grew up with them.)

Masq: Thanks. Poor burglar didn't realize we were completely broke. Didn't get anything for his trouble (well, a $4000 shopping spree, but it doesn't hurt us).

Peipei: Yeah. Tristan has that overprotective thing. Got him in trouble before.

Tantz: I like the dialogue too. ^_^ It would be nice if they're caught, but frankly, I only care about getting all my IDs and stuff replaced.

Molly: Tristan does love his sister. We're all fine. Just happy our cat is safe. It's no worse a situation than if we accidentally lost our wallets. (Although, I hate not feeling "safe" at home. :-/ Oh well. I'm moving in a couple weeks.)

amanda: He was lucky. Our neighbor's dog usually barks but was inside that night. The downstairs is hardly ever empty. – And Bethany got back moments after they left. (She saw their car.)

ghostrunner: Thanks. (But I'm sorry you've been there. -_- )
