I'm still trying to draw hands and arms properly. Some improvement here. I get better later on. I liked drawing the scenery in panel 4. Seiko's room was one of the first places I was able to draw consistently and in detail – even in the early pages.

I got my driver's license replaced yesterday. The Vogons released me with most of my sanity still in tact. We also went to the cable company office to have our service terminated, which was done with no hassles (amazing…). Until I get to my new place, I'll have to make due with my ridiculously large DVD collection.

When I got home (and after a nap), instead of packing up clothes or working on buffer pages, I spent the rest of the day eating pasta and cupcakes, watching Sherlock Holmes, and playing Sid Meier's Pirates. (Because I deserve a little time off!)

ghostrunner: Bad hair can really get you down.

Masq: Some subjects can be particularly emotion-evoking. Mike has a lot of issues he hasn't really been able to deal with.

Jess: I've had several rats get surgery. That surgical glue is the coolest. One time they used big metal staples, though.

Tantz: It's risky to be in the public eye (especially back then).

Peipei: It's a somewhat backwards revelation for Mike. He has always known of his father's death, but this is the first time he's heard any details about his life/personality.

dueeast: Mike tends to evoke lukewarm reactions because he has such divided loyalties. (It is hard to decide whether or not to like him.) You can always sympathize with Jiro, though.

trevor: Addictive? I deny those allegations! There is no scientific evidence that – *Slides unlabeled syringe back into jacket packet.*

amanda: Lol. It has become almost a sibling rivalry at this point and cooled to a mostly civil exchange. (At least we can hope it won't come down to throwing punches … again.)

patrick: He probably had an e-collar when he came home, but after a few days, you can usually take it off and just monitor them. Some dogs (and some cats, but not as often) pick at stitches a lot and need the collar for longer.

JustNoPoint: They're racking up the unsolved crimes around here. :-P (They used to just blame Fudo for everything, but there are other hooligans afoot.)
