Brigit, I think, has finally developed her own personality! Yay! When I first started drawing her, she was a prop more than a person. I had no idea who she was, and I hate when characters (even minor ones) are not developed. When I got to this chapter, Ricky and Brigit were "writing their own actions/lines" (in other words, I didn't have to do any thinking – that's the way I write for most of the characters), so I know they have both become developed characters. ^_^

I applied to PetsMart yesterday. We saw a "hiring" sign at the store when my parents took me shopping. Keep your fingers crossed for me! I really want to work with animals (I miss my brief internship at a vet clinic), and this would be a great position for me. It's the "pet care specialist" that deals with the birds, reptiles, small mammals, and fish. (My kinds of creatures!) I also have some leads on other jobs both in this area and in the town I just moved from…

royduncan100: "Blush in black and white" sounds like the title for a painting in a gallery. :-)

ghostrunner: Library book about contraceptives? XD

Masq: It's like a "happy ending" in the middle of a story. Or at least a small victory for normalcy.

Peipei: Ricky and Brigit are a bright spot. They manage to skirt the edges of the tension and tragedy around them without getting sucked into it.

n_y_japlander: Nah. Yuki's hardly a prude! But "test drives" need not involve offspring… not with all the modern advancements of "seat belts." ;-)

amanda: Other people's babies are great. So are other people's puppies. You can cuddle them and then give them back before they do gross things. – Oh, and Brigit's dress makes her look like a big, round Christmas present. XD

trevor: The only reason it's two-toned is to create the "illusion" of a background. Personally, I find outside scenes MUCH easier. I love drawing buildings, alleys, trees, etc.
