Yeah, I know the hand looks weird. My difficulties with hands were compounded by the fact that I have never been able to hold a pen "properly." I had to draw in Kaida's legs after scanning because I ended up resizing/reshaping the speech bubbles. Also, I couldn't figure out how to make the last panel border (for Kaida's dream) digital/tidy so I left it as is. Aside from those problems, I kinda like this page. Go figure.

amanda: I don't like talking to "girls" either, but older women seem to listen well, and it takes more for me to feel "at ease" with men. (Blame my experience with chauvinistic professors…) – However, I think the real reason I chose an older lady is that I don't get to draw them often.

ghostrunner: Certainly possible, but Kaida's missing memories are not her top concern at the moment.

blntmaker: For some reason, I just think about Sue Johanson… and also the psychiatrist Wolf visits in the Tenth Kingdom miniseries.

Peipei: It should help her remember names and events when talking to Kaida. Therapists have a lot of patients that they need to know intimately.

trevor: Well, I'm glad. I don't make things deliberately unexpected. To me, it all follows a logical, progressive plan – but that's the fun of having readers. They don't always see things the way I do. ^_^

Locoma: Thanks. ^_^ The "evolution" is pretty obvious when you read a bunch of pages in a row. Personally, I find the last few chapters unbearably tame, but that's probably why I pushed myself to get creative with the scenery and angles (making up for slow story progression… Heh.) In any case, it was good practice, preparing me for more difficult "action" sequences.
