It was sort of a last minute decision to have Tristan in the choir. I'd love to take credit for "well-planned hints" but that was not the case. I came up with a list of people Kaida might seek help from and decided religion would be an appropriate "last resort." Two things then dawned on me, Tristan mentioned prayer in an earlier chapter (suggesting he has some degree of faith) and he also is a decent singer. Then I pictured 6-foot-something Tristan singing in a choir with a bunch of old ladies. The image cracked me up, so I *had* to include it.

Btw, I did not intend to stereotype, so please do not take offense at the choice of names. It was the whimsy/ceremony that made me choose a Catholic church to begin with. Only after all this was drawn and written did I think "A criminal named Verona in the congregation of Father O'Bryan? D'oh!"

amanda: Soulless cubes are easier to draw, though. ;-) I think all old things have personality. That's the allure of the second-hand book store.

ghostrunner: Better than waking up with one, I suppose.

blntmaker: You know, I remember thinking long and hard about which hymn they should be singing and finally deciding on that one … but I don't remember why.

LanceDanger: Winners are being chosen by judges this year. (Which is nice. We have enough popularity contests for webcomics.) Yeah, a lot can happen in a few months. I quit my job and moved to a different state. ^_^;

Peipei: She's not a very "churchy" type, but she is looking for a discreet professional who knows about morality…

n_y_japlander: Congrats on yours! (I totally voted for you!)

dueeast: Thanks. The little things in life are what bring a smile to Kaida (that or her Puckish grin when she teases/torments ;-) ).

trevor: Thanks. I voted for Temple (but I can't remember which categories).

smkinoshita: Thank you. ^_^
