"Choreographing" this page and planning angles was a little tricky. Mike is a south paw, so I have to show most action scenes from his left side, which meant I needed him to grab his tie with his right hand. On yesterday's page, his left hand was reaching for his knife (which is why the actions in the last panels were done with his right hand), but I had to show him from the right side. – On this page, I drew the first panel from behind so I could "circle around" to the left side close-up without causing confusion. (Behold my long, convoluted thought processes!)

Btw, if you're following Mike's story, you know he stopped carrying a knife for a while (after accidentally hurting Seiko at a party). As you can see, he has taken up the habit again.

I've made some minor changes to my site layout. The chapter list was overwhelming and redundant (since there is a pulldown menu), so I've abbreviated it to every 5 chapters for quick linking. To make up for that, I created thumbnails for every chapter on their own page to make for easy navigation of archives (and more fun, imo). It took me all day to make, so I hope you do look at it some time.

patrick: No, but I don't read many graphic novels (just the Case Closed manga). If I see it, I'll take a look.

Peipei: The good news is that you don't think like Meredith. ;-)

trevor: I don't think my raw scanned pages really count as "buffer," since they still take 3 to 4 hours of work on the computer before I can upload them. :-P (More if colored.)

Luminous: Thanks. I always wonder and debate if I should use fonts for the sound effects.
