My brother posed for panel 1. Thanks, Dave! I wouldn't have known how to even begin that panel without a hand model – although, I have been getting braver with the hands lately. This chapter forced me to get over my hang-ups and draw them.

I hope the center panel is clear. She tosses the knife aside. I debated whether she would use it against him or not and decided that it was more intimidating (and fitting) for her to toss it away like a child's toy and use her chain.

blntmaker: Unfortunately, Mike doesn't realize that her previous job was keeping assassins in line, so his little knife isn't much of a threat.

ghostrunner: A life of crime tends to pull people back and never let them escape…

amanda: I prefer writing "behind the scenes" stuff in my notes. Otherwise, I run the risk of "explaining a page" (which makes it difficult to see reactions and whether a point got across) or accidentally letting out a spoiler (high risk of that since I have many pages written but not uploaded yet).

Peipei: Mike would likely do whatever it takes (he has already put in tons of community service – beyond court-ordered), but Meredith has no interest in making amends. -_-

trevor: Nothing gets easier. The pages take me longer and longer. The only thing that has saved time is that I no longer have to physically redraw that many things when I edit my pages. (Some of my older ones were intensely embarrassing, so I had to redraw and rescan panels or draw them with my mouse.)

patrick: No, you wouldn't. I'm terrible with ink, paint, or anything aside from pencil (and possibly charcoal). I can't even use colored pencils. :-P (I keep buying art supplies, but oh Lord, how I suck!)

Tantz: Sounds like an accurate assessment. XD

n_y_japlander: Mike has been through the court system and has done everything in his power to make amends… (But it is one of the story's themes that no one can escape their past.)

JustNoPoint: That's actually how Fudo became ambidextrous. XD Mike did give up the knife for a while. He probably started carrying it again sometime after the the incident in the bar.
