As I created this page, I realized how few happily married couples there are in this story (lots of widows though).

The island was drawn from my own experience/memory so it resembles islands off the coast of Maine. This comic has no real geographic location – although culturally and from other hints, it seems to be east coast US. (Part of drawing from personal experience.)

amanda: It is wise to put your camera away when a fight scene is possible – unless you plan to document it.

DAJB: She wouldn't be thinking it if she didn't have a bad track record. ;-)

Peipei: Despite Yuki's usual clumsiness, Seiko has a lot of confidence in her.

trevor: I'm more of a comic than a dramatist. Nearly all of my stories are comedy-adventures. Most started serious but became comedic. This project started more comedic and became more dramatic.

patrick: They are good little pets. I've been breeding rats for a few years and am on my 12th generation. There should be new baby rats next month. ^_^
