I've been on very few boats. The only part I know very well is the bow because that was where I napped while the whale-watch ship traveled out to sea. The setting comes from those few experiences but mostly from movies. My point is that inaccuracies are likely because I drew the bow from a picture in my mind, not one in my hands. ;-)

My new laptop should be arriving today! I bought it mostly to aid in my job hunt. It isn't as nice as my desktop, but it will let me be mobile again. I'm also getting a small tablet, which might help me with the digital cleanup of my pages. In a week or so, my new glasses will be ready too. *Gasp!* I'll be able to draw and see!

patrick: I dunno. The relationship stuff comes up occasionally, but I doubt it's often enough to be a main point of interest.

amanda: Woo! Island party! (I wish I owned an island.) They aren't actually headed to that island, only passing it. They're not sure where they're going.

Peipei: It's not good to be brought along on a trip you didn't sign up for.

DAJB: Ships that pass islands in the daylight? Lol. "Uh-oh" is a good sentiment.

trevor: That's what real life is. ;-) I like to have more humor than drama if I can, but sometimes, the story gets away from me.
