After an agonizing time trying to come up with a script and layout for this page, I settled on a design. It took me a long time to draw the original page because of the poses and "action" – I struggle a lot with action. Anyway, I wanted to cry when I realized that the page just wouldn't work. (Shown below.)



Frustrated, I left the page for months until last week, when I realized I would need *something* to upload. I figured I could either go the easy way and upload as is with profuse apologies in the author's notes or redraw the page from scratch and throw out my previous work. In the end, I decided to try to "rescue" the page. I took the whole thing apart and reassembled it like a 6-piece jigsaw puzzle. Unfortunately, I did have to compromise panel order (swapping panels 2 and 3) to make it all fit. I also had to reshape all the panels and draw in things digitally to fill out the odd angles.

amanda: Yeah, anyone looking at her would think Seiko's not a physical threat – and they'd be right. But she is getting fed up with it. Also… Nekkid old man! XD You'd think someone would notice that.

ghostrunner: Just another notch on Yuki's oops belt.

DAJB: I was going to include something like that to cut the tension (pun intended), but I couldn't fit it in.

trevor: I'll let you guys know if there's any progress. For now, I'm glad to have a roof over my head.

dueeast: I had to look that one up. Lol. (You knew I would!) This "captain" could probably benefit from a logical friend… XD

patoborracho: Or he just got back from the optometrist with dilated pupils. (In either case, you don't want him steering the ship!)

Tantz: Yuki could use a refresher course in tactfulness. XD

patrick: It's easy to miss (or forget things) with a long story (and a lot of characters). I don't want anyone to be lost. ;-) As for their plan, it sorta backfired. Heh.
