Panel 2 is weird because by the time I realized the framing/position was off, I was halfway done and so proud of my (partial) gun that I refused to erase and redraw it. Also, in panel 4, I meant for Brigit to say "I'm sorry, Ricky. He caught me off guard." I shortened it to "I'm sorry, Ricky" which I thought was dramatic but unclear, so in my final page, it reads "He caught me off guard." I'm afraid it's not as moving/dramatic.

I'm on the road for the next couple days. I have to tie up some loose ends in the my previous city (like closing my bank account and settling bills with my former roommates). Before that, though, I have to ride to the little nothing town where I grew up. I have my laptop now, but I'm not sure about internet availability (most likely, I'll have it – probably dial-up). There will not be a break in the update schedule in any case. All is uploaded and ready to go. ;-)

EDIT (October 9):
I changed Brigit's line in panel 4 to better fit my original intentions.

Brogan & patoborracho: Thanks. :-)

patrick: That's the nature of injuries. I've had this moment a few times: "Darn, I broke the skin. Looks like I'm bleeding… Crap. Looks like I'm bleeding A LOT. I need a band-aid. … Um, nope. Stitches. I need stitches. – Mom!"

Peipei: The neck is a fragile thing, best kept away from sharp objects.

amanda: Lol. I don't understand guys' fascination with panties. I've never found a glimpse of shorts or briefs a turn-on. Must come from generations of strip-shows ingrained in their psyches.

Tantz: Well, you are officially my comic's seer.

DAJB: Not too far off. ;-) Dave has posed only three times for my comic. That kick, Mike's crushed hand, and a scene with Tristan on a couch. (Actually, I didn't ask him to do the kick. He offered when I told him I was struggling with a fight scene.) I usually pose for myself. I once went into my friend Gael's room, handed her a camera, blindfolded myself, and sat cross-legged on her bed. She's so used to my craziness, she didn't hesitate or ask anything.

trevor: Lol. I always feel like I have to apologize. I can't help but feel I'm letting people down. ^_^;

dueeast: She's going to stain the carpet! They need OxyClean!
