The shading effects were a last minute decision. I had already uploaded this page and the next one before I decided Seiko would probably be sitting in the dark. It's just makes sense to me, and I think it helps the mood.

I got the banner done for my other comic, so I'll stop plugging it in my author's notes. ;-)

n_y_japlander & ghostrunner: I have never been present at a death. The only dead people I've seen were at their funerals.

LanceDanger: I haven't even seen that (except pets; I've held many pets in their last moments), but Seiko has been present shortly after a couple deaths. The first were her parents.

roycemarie: Yep, next adventure will begin … right after a couple pages of sulking. ^_^;

Peipei: I wouldn't want to, especially an untimely one.

amanda: Sleep is my reaction to stress, depression, etc. It works very well.

patrick: Yuki doesn't do somber and bounces back very quickly. Maybe her time as a cop desensitized her – or maybe she puts on a good front for the sake of her friends.

trevor: You know that I understand completely. (Still no job luck on this front, but my parents are taking care of me.)

Brogan: Seiko didn't know that guy (and he was scum), but she still takes it hard. Part of it is a guilt complex, and part might be remembering the people she did care about.

JustNoPoint: That old comic reaction to a gloomy mood "Who died?" – loses its jocularity around here. -_-
