Thanks to everyone who commented on the Saturday "recap." It was fun to see the story written out in plain text. I usually write this as if it was a novel, but I realize that the webcomic format turns it into a serial. Detective Conan (my favorite show/manga) does a plot recap at the beginning of any episode dealing with the syndicate or FBI and at the beginning of each movie. Actually, it's kinda monotonous to a long time fan. (I get my popcorn cooked while he goes through the whole "The drug that was supposed to kill me…" spiel. ;-) )

Just a couple individual "extra" replies today.

DAJB & JustNoPoint: Believe it or not, that was a super-condensed summary of only the most key points of the main story. There was a lot I wanted to include but chose to leave out because I couldn't fit it into the flow of the paragraphs/transitions. And I don't want to "lead" anyone by pointing out seemingly unimportant things that will soon become significant.

That's also the reason I don't want to do regular short recaps. For example, if I was to make a recap that talked mainly about Seiko's past/hangups, then people would know that that is going to come up as opposed to, say, Eric's mayoral race or Yuki's follies in love. I don't think my comic is conducive to regular recaps. There are too many unrelated subplots and too many short, stand-alone episodes. I prefer to make references in author's notes. They work well for jogging memories when needed.

The summaries work great for your comics, though. ^_^

CZweig: Alex is like the sane guy in the madhouse. ;-) He's gonna be making another appearance fairly soon.

Jules: You had the opposite problem I did. I was assigned a comic with only 4 pages. I had no idea how to work with that…

Haerviu: True, but I was thinking she might have had her bed made up since she was in pajamas and in the dark.
