Seiko is right-handed, but I had to do a swap here because of angles. I imagine pepper spray should be easy to use even with your "off" hand, considering its purpose. We haven't seen him for a while, but this guy has been the topic of some discussion. If you don't remember him, check back around page 500 (or his original introduction way back in chapter 24).

amanda: Mousie's there for atmosphere (no one lives here, so the critters claimed it). ^_^ I was originally going to use a stray dog or cat, but Seiko probably would have been distracted by that and sidetracked to "puppy needs a home."

Warpedwenger: Established characters tend to do that. It's my favorite part of writing a long work because eventually the characters start dictating their own actions.

patrick: It was fun to draw. I must admit it took me a little time to decide what details were needed to portray "abandoned."
