Panel 3 speech originally ended with "Someone really hates you, little Seiko, but while I was rewording the rest of it, I lost space for the nickname. I like the use of nicknames in my story. I think they add to characterizations, how people see each other, and identification for the nickname-givers (like if the person is "off-screen," the use of a nickname can identify the speaker).

I put up some guest art this weekend, so make sure you look at it. These replies are for Friday's comments.

ghostrunner: Lol. That is so wrong. XD

Peipei: He's not so sure about that.

amanda: Hehe. Maybe he's being a gentleman but he might also sort of be "the adult" there. He's not quite old enough to be Seiko's father, but pretty close.

Tantz: This chapter has an unusually peaceful mood. It's nice to have "calm" from time to time.

patrickdevine: Well, he got very confused (due to several events) and has had quite a bit of time alone to think. He's trying to sort out his role in all this. (Kaida was his main "target" and he hasn't seen her in about six months.)

trevor: I never actually see my colors at full opacity like that. It's set at 60% opacity overlaying the pencils. (I don't actually have outlines, just under-lines.) Since the layers are semi-transparent, I can't really be sloppy with anything. (My other comic is a bit easier, since I remove the pencil altogether and ink it digitally.)

Warpedwenger: No, but I met him once. Nice guy.
