I don't know how I came up with Fudo's car. I figured he needed transportation and imagined all kinds of trucks and off-road things, but when I put pencil to paper, this is what emerged. I fancy it as an ugly old junker he bought for a couple hundred dollars off a friend or relative. I figure I should match vehicles to characters – not because they are especially significant but because I believe each of a character's possessions is a chance to show an aspect of who they are. I originally was going to give Seiko a bicycle for her transportation, probably a man's bike gotten second-hand (maybe Jerry's bike).

Also, make sure you check out this week's filler page at Off Hours. I made it a few months ago, and it features a few UB 'actors.'

n_y_japlander: And poor Mike only has one hand left! Seriously, since I'm currently alive only because of a seatbelt, I'm rather fond of them.

Warpedwenger & ghostrunner: Thanks. ^_^

Peipei: Alex's mischievous smart-alack teenager side surfaces around Mike (combating Mike's emo-ness). They have a brother-sort of relationship.

amanda: True. Seatbelts are good. I don't care how many guns and knives come into play, cars are still the most dangerous things around.

trevor: My sister is in the JET program, but her contract is about up. She's coming home in less than a month.

patrickdevine: Whether you always wear them or don't, seatbelts tend to be an unconscious thing. I remember to draw them because I was in a serious accident once, so their importance makes an impression on my mind. – Fingerless gloves are kinda cool, but I'm not sure how they are useful (gripping things? keeping your palm warm?)

dueeast: Thanks. I'm glad my art manages to get the story across. I admit that I enjoy writing for "the boys'" exchanges, though they don't happen that often.

blntmaker: Rare, huh? I guess the story has gotten a bit more dramatic than it used to be. I like to use humor whenever possible.

DAJB: They are quite a pair.
