I forgot to mention last week that the update reduction also goes hand-in-hand with switching to color. Heh. Yes, all pages from now on will be in color – which is another reason I can manage only two updates a week.

This chapter takes place a few days after the last chapter. I have to admit that it is tough drawing Kaida in any kind of revealing attire. She's supposed to be rather lean, and that body type is difficult for me to draw, especially without making her look like a teenager. It doesn't help matters that she's so fair-skinned that whenever her hair comes down and she's made-up at all, she looks like a goth. -_-

Peipei: No worries, dear. This is the part where one wakes up!

Tantz: Yep. Crazy, vivid, fever-induced dream.

amanda: Thanks. I loathe doing it, since I still have 80-some already scanned pages to get through, but I just can't manage. I am worried because my frequent updates were my way of making up for my lack of art skill. (Quantity making up for quality, you know?)

patrickdevine: Good catch. I did design the armor to be Jeff-like. ;-) For the dream, I borrowed elements from other parts of the story – logically now part of Seiko's subconscious. (The sandcastle, Ren Fair, etc. Dragons have appeared in various places.)

ghostrunner: I'm glad. :-)

Warpedwenger: Not really. It's the computer editing that is so cumbersome and time-consuming. I don't have any buffer of "finished" pages (just rough scans). I never had any time to draw more pages because I was so busy editing my old scans. :-(
