Fevers are funny things. I remember the last time I was very sick I had weird dreams all the time, hallucinations when I was awake, and found myself saying nonsensical things aloud. – That was the reason I decided it would be fun if Seiko had a flu and was being REALLY candid (though a little confused) for a change.

Tristan's middle name is James. (It was revealed in a flashback.) I was actually debating what to name their dad until I remembered that flashback. Most of the time I don't name characters until it comes up in the story, but I do have names for a few "unnamed" extras. There's a recurring cop I call Tara, for example.

patrickdevine: Yuki called her a vampire before. XD The reason nightmares are scary is because they feel real. When you write/draw a nightmare, you need to do the same for the readers (like Buttercup's dream in The Princess Bride). But I wasn't going for that. I wasn't even going for foreshadowing. I just wanted to show how Seiko's fevered subconscious was piecing together her experiences.

Peipei: Most of them probably already know that. ;-) But Seiko is quite comfortable in her denial.

Tantz: He's probably happy because he feels useful. ^_~ Although the dreaming thing is true too.

amanda: In my head, I have brief descriptions of everyone's appearance. I think of Kaida as a porcelain doll, pale and fragile with an elegance to her – that she hides under androgynous clothing and shades (basically, the opposite of Yuki).

dueeast: I'm trying anyway. I'm going through update withdraw… But it's nice to have some free time.
