No, you didn't miss anything. I debated about how I was going to present this chapter. I had a long, bad day planned for Yuki (as well as a long day out for Kaida), but it seemed too tenuous and, well, long. The truth is this "poisoning" event wouldn't have been very dramatic. It would have been subtle and drawn out. Maybe her drink tasted a little strange. She would have started feeling sick later on (antifreeze is metabolized into toxins). I decided to go with my 'less is more' method and 'cut to the chase.'

It actually takes quite a bit of ethylene glycol to be toxic – at least to the point of hospitalization, but Yuki is a rather cautious individual, especially lately. You can't really kill someone with antifreeze (unless you drown them in it ;-) ). Keep in mind that she has been poisoned (by more sinister things) before, so she's quick to respond to even mild symptoms/suspicions.

Warpedwenger: I had a bunch of friends test the quiz for me, and you're the first person to get Yuki. ^_^ Oh, and thanks for the comments in the archive. I know it's a bit of a beast at this point. I read comic archives in clumps too. It's kinda fun to read a chunk at a time (not, like a hundred pages at once, but a few dozen) rather than a page a day.

amanda: Kaida was actually going to tell Tristan to mind the store for her, but that worked out too. Someone should watch Seiko. XD And, yes, Raidon was surprised to say the least. Oh well, practice makes perfect.

patrick: If it makes you feel better, I answered questions in Fudo's "lucid/sane" mindset. Also, throwing pointy objects is fun. ^_^ Conrad's just mad that he's not a main character.

Peipei: True. He and Kaida have been out before, but she's not really herself around him. It's probably best to avoid him altogether.

Tantz: I like that panel too. I think Jiro's expression gave it that extra something. ^_^

trevoramueller: Good. :-) To be honest, with my current schedule, I probably wouldn't be able to do more than three b&w pages per week now anyway.
