Last page of the chapter! (Yes, Brad is slightly shorter than Yuki.) Man, these chapters go so slow on two pages a week… Too much drama and not enough action lately. Don't worry, there's weaponry and action on the way.

My sister is home from a year in Japan (and two weeks in Australia). We are getting along okay, which is something of a miracle. She was telling me to introduce a new character, so she can be in the story like my friends Gael and Bethany (after whom I modeled Kaida and Yuki). However, we came to realize that she is, in fact, already present in the story – as Violet. Not initially intended, but we can both see it. She even told me that she would totally drive a magenta Porsche…

ghostrunner: Maybe so.

DAJB: True on both counts.

Tantz: I never thought about that before, but I can see the comparison now!

Peipei: He does have a strange effect on Kaida.

amanda: Yeah. It sucks. Yuki could probably just back off and uninvolve herself right now if she wanted to. (Not that she would, stubborn lady.)

patrick: Kaida hasn't known Yuki *that* long, but Yuki has proven her loyalty. Unfortunately, Kaida has twisted Yuki's words in her mind to apply to herself… (Their friendship was based on Kaida's own ability to 'go straight.')

Jonko: Me too! I have a huge DVD collection, including all the movies. It's my biggest inspiration.

JustNoPoint: Lol. She so easily could, but Raidon plays a psychological game. He would probably love to be assaulted and then come across as both a victim and a compassionate guy (with his "completely my fault; I understand your anger" stuff).

Warpedwenger: True. When I was in a car accident, I remember how much better I felt after I had a shower. (I had to spend the day with dirt, blood, and broken glass in my hair. Ugh.)
