Drunkduck update things have been glitchy for me lately, so if the favorites lists or alerter doesn't say I have an update, and it's Tuesday or Thursday, don't believe it. It's spreading lies. ~_^

My other comic, Gelotology, is 25 pages long as of yesterday! Yay! *Throws confetti* Also, please Check out the new Used Books Character Bios. I have five done so far: Kaida, Yuki, Seiko, Alex, & Tristan

JustNoPoint: Well, it's probably not a protection thing. Something set the cat off (shiny knife?). It might have something to do with this. – Jiro acts on a slightly higher level than most felines because he's fictional. XD (Some real cats are pretty clever too, not altruistic, but clever. If they had a knife in them at some point, they might start attacking chefs and whittlers.)

Jonko: In my experience, most animal bites are deserved. ;-)

Scorpious: All the more reason not to trust them!

Tantz: That might be part of it, but Seiko is a threat in other ways (Fudo's friend, asking about her mom, etc.)

dueeast: Oh, Jiro has his reasons. ~_^ It really relates to an unsolved case, so it's more than a hint – it's a clue.

patrickdevine: To be fair, cats usually respond with the same degree of terror whether confronting a moth or a madman.

n_y_japlander: Thanks. Some people prefer reading this story in large clumps (and it is sort of better that way), but it's nice to hear from you now and then. ;-)

DAJB: Poor Jiro. No one understands him. -_- But cats are spazzy, so you can't always trust them.

blntmaker: No worries. Kaida's not gone. She just has a, um, boyfriend. (Catch up is a fun game! ;-) )
