I get into Meredith's head when I write her part. Like on this page, she has quite a number of reasons to let Mike go (another gunshot could bring the police; he's a useful bargaining chip with Fudo; she doesn't want Ronnie to have the pleasure instead of her…), but she simply says "don't bother" because explaining her motives would make her less of an authority figure. When Meredith gives an order, it is to be followed without question.

I posted a new character bio (Conrad) if anyone's interested. The bios are good for refreshing your memory or if you want to learn some behind-the-scenes development stuff.

Warpedwenger: Thanks. It improves little by little I guess.

n_y_japlander: A gun isn't Fudo's weapon of choice, but he can use one okay. ;-)

Peipei: He hit the fountain, so Mike's not hurt, but he's really scared.

Tantz: Sometimes I don't even know that.

DAJB: Just an innocent patsy… Such a tragedy.

JustNoPoint: The gun went of very close to him, so yeah, he's a little stunned… He's lucky he didn't have a heart attack.

trevor: I have no desire to watch that movie, and I'm sure anyone who wanted to has already seen it.

Jonko: Yeah, Fudo is in a bit of trouble, but he's always in trouble.

patrickdevine: Don't feel too bad. That fountain had terminal cancer. It's in a better place now.

amanda: Meredith is always unpleasant. ;-) But she's pretty happy at the moment. Mission accomplished.
